Nutella Crust Cupcakes

Do you like Nutella? I certainly like Nutella. I eat it every morning. In fact every afternoon. And if I feel like it, in the evening after dinner as well. And for tea, if I get the chance.

So why just leave the Nutella in the cupboard, and devour it cold, spread on some lonely piece of bread? Why not integrate it into your daily culinary adventures you've been having, with the aid of my cooking blog?

You like cupcakes aswell? Good. Because then this one is made for you.

What you need (adapted from FeistyCook.com):
  • 125g of butter
  • 100g of sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • Packet of vanilla sugar or vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups of flour
  • some salt
  • half a pack of baking powder
  • spoonful of Nutella of course for each cupcake
1. Preheat oven. 190C. Mix together melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla sugar, salt, baking powder. Mix well.

2. Slowly add flour to the mix. Keep stirring.

3. Grease cupcake pan or line with cupcake liners.

4. Add two spoonfuls or 3/4 of cupcake batter to each section.

5. Add a spoonful of Nutella and slowly stir around with a toothpick or something of similar sharpness. Don't mix too well. You want that nice swirl effect.

5. Bake for 15 minutes.
